This 1992 Land Rover Defender 90 200TDi, Left Hand Drive, has lived it's life in the south of France. It was acquired from a private individual who bought it from "Le Pompiers" (Fire Department) a few years previously.
A well maintained car with no rust, it was the perfect car for our latest custom project. So perfect in fact it made the 1500km journey home to Yorkshire without missing a beat.
The car has been stripped back to the chassis, which has then been sand blasted, sealed and re-painted.
All bodywork panels have been sent off to our local bodyshop, where they are oven baked for a hard, durable & high quality lacquered finish in Atlantic Green. The only difference being the roof and door mirrors which are finished in Gloss Black.
The Engine, Transmission, Transfer Box and Axles have all been rebuilt ready to be mated back to the chassis shortly.
A huge list of new components will be found all over the vehicle. To name a few it will compromise new Suspension, Brakes, Allisport Intercooler & Radiator (adds upto 35% power & torque increase) Puma Bonnet, Series Doors, Lights, Grille, Front Bumper with Winch, Rear Bumper, Fenders, 5 x 17x9" Modular Steel Wheels in Gloss Black with Cooper Discoverer STT Pro Tyres, Steering Wheel, Recaro Style Seats, Cubby Box, Re-Trimmed Leather Dashboard, Door Cards, Roll Cage & Wooden Deck.
